St James's Sussex Gardens to host launch concert

In a week's time, on Friday the 6th July, just hours before we catch the Caledonian Sleeper train to the North-East corner of Scotland, The Song Cyclists will give a short London concert at the beautiful St James's, Sussex Gardens at 7.45pm. The church staff have heroically given us this gorgeous venue for free and we are so grateful for this opportunity to perform to our London-based friends and supporters.

Featuring a selection of stunning sacred music, folksong favourites and outrageous a cappella from the tour, please come to bid us farewell and good luck with £17,700 left to raise and 1000 miles in the saddle ahead of us. Tickets are free but we do hope that the entertainment we provide will provoke a generous retiring collection. And if you can find a more varied programme elsewhere this summer, we would like to hear about it!

Tallis - If Ye Love Me, Hear The Voice And Prayer

White - Regina Caeli

Gounod - Ave Verum

Mendelssohn - Beati Mortui, Periti Autem
